The SMAW can be one of the most user friendly multi role launchers we have if equipped properly. You can mount multiple types of Optics to the launcher, eotech 512 holographic, ACOGs, Or the specialized SMAW optic. The only way to zero the SMAW is by having the SMAW optic, If you have one mounted on the launcher then you can range from 50m-1000m. Iron sights will be zeroed to 250m and any other optic will only be zeroed to 100m. The SMAW also comes with a built in spotting rifle which is ballistically matched to the rockets used in the launcher. You can use this to aid in ranging targets if you do not have a Range finder or even to make sure you are going to hit the target before using an actual rocket. The spotting rifle is also very useful if taking long range shots without the SMAW Optic.
