Rank Roles

Headquarters

  • HQ consists of the group admins and each has a specific job and/or role to maintain to ensure the steady operation of the community as whole. They are volunteers who dedicate countless hours to improving the community within their focus of either gameplay, training, recruiting, personnel management, or mission quality assurance.

Corporals

  • Corporals are trusted team members within a section and the right hand man of the section leader. They have mastered the art of ArmA and are continuously looked to by new joins for guidance and instruction.

Specialists

  • Specialists are all dedicated company members who have stood out as pillars of the community. Their contributions both in-game and out make them subject matter experts for everything they do within the community.

Privates

  • Privates are the newest company members. They have been in the group for at least 2 weeks, passed recruit phase, and have access to nearly everything the company offers. They have proven themselves competent in-game and showed the ability to participate in the community outside of ArmA.

Recruits

  • Due to the flaky nature of the ArmA community, all new-joins join the group at this rank. Every new join goes through a recruit period to ensure Coalition is a good fit for them and they are a good fit for Coalition. Recruits are scared, confused, and quiet creatures who you can normally find running into machine gun fire at the most inopportune times.

Group Structure

Coalition also uses a two-group system in order to keep the community organized. Each group serves a purpose both inside and out of the community.

Company

  • The company is the backbone of the community. All members of the company are considered full members of Coalition and are assigned to a Section/Squad to play with in-game. Company members range from anyone in the ranks of Privates to Sergeants.

Sections

As of 2024, the Company is divided into sections. These sections each have their own roles in-game per campaign as well as section leaders who administrate and lead all members of their section.

Headquarters

  • The brains of the community and ArmA sessions. Each headquarters member has a specific role they play in the administration and/or technical side of the group. All headquarters members are Staff Sergeants.

Staff Shops

Each headquarters member is directly in charge of a staff shop. Company members can apply to join a staff shop and help the s-shop leader run things.
