It's official! You're now apart of the Company and a full time member in Coalition's ranks. Gone are the days of only taking certain roles in sessions and being treated like you don't know your ass from your head (hopefully). That being said, you now have responsibilities and expectations.

XMLs

You now have access to XMLs in game which show your rank and give you access to other roles such as specialties.

NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE A XML SETUP IF YOU WISH TO SLOT ANYTHING OTHER THAN RECRUIT ROLES.

Expectations of you

Now that you're a Grunt and have been given access to more play-ability and features, more is also expected of you.

Leading

As soon as you feel you are ready, you need to begin leading fireteams. If you feel as though you're not ready, remember that you can now slot as AR's who are second-in-command within fireteams. This gives you the ability to see other leadership styles and potentially be thrust into the FTL role if your FTL catches a bullet to the neck. To begin solidifying your understanding of how leading is performed here, take some time to read into pages such as these from our training archives:

Content Creation

Finally, no community is complete without content. While Headquarters' main role is to ensure the operation of the community as a whole, it is the Company's responsibility to ensure there's community engagement and content at all times during sessions or otherwise. This now begins to fall on your shoulders. One of the best ways to begin this is Mission Design. Other forms of content creation:

Hosting Tournaments in other games
Creating Videos of Sessions
Learning to Mod PBOs
Learning to Script (SQF)

Promotion to Soldier

To apply for promotion to soldier, you must meet the following criteria:

Have held the rank of Grunt for at least 1 month
Have been a member of coalition for at least 3 months
Have a firm understanding of how fireteam leading works
Have a firm understanding of tactics used in session(s)
Demonstrated ability to produce content
Consistent community interaction outside of sessions
