Getting Started

Follow this guide to get started attending sessions. If you have any issues, ask in #tech-support.

No membership / sign up is required to play with us, However if you wish to take more critical roles and gain a few perks. Apply at our main site!

DOWNLOAD THE MODPACK
- You can obtain the modpack by two methods: Swifty or ArmA3Sync
  - Installing with Swifty 3
  - Installing with a3sync
    - NOTE: Recommended startup parameters:

 -nosplash -noLogs -skipIntro -hugepages -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi_x64 -enableHT -world=empty -maxmem=12800 -exThreads=7 -cpuCount=4

CONNECT TO TEAMSPEAK
- ts3.coalitiongroup.net
- Teamspeak info can be found here: http://coalitiongroup.net/wiki/index.php/Server_Information

AT SESSION TIME, JOIN THE SLOTTING CHANNEL AT THE BOTTOM OF TEAMSPEAK

The slotting channel can be found here, at the bottom of teamspeak!

- Click "Join" on Swifty or A3Sync
- When a mission is being slotted, you will slot when you hear "Recruits and Public Players"
  - If you join a mission late after it has started, please take a "Join in Progress (JIP)" slot at the bottom.
- NOTE: You are limited in the slots you are able to take:
  - Assistant Automatic Rifleman
  - Grenadier
  - Rifleman Anti-tank

For new ARMA players

If you are new to ARMA or the mods we use (like ACE medical, or ACRE radios), we can give you a short rundown of the basics before session. All you need to do is ask in discord or TS! We also suggest you attend pre-join 45 minutes prior to session start. During pre-join you can test the modpack on our server as well as ask any questions that you might have!
