General FAQ
How do we/I sign up?
For now, there is no sign up required. Anyone can simply show up and play on both Xbox and PC. In the future, if we start running into issues with the server player count maxing out at 128, we will host a pre-signup tool for community leaders and individuals alike to ensure slots will be reserved.
Is CFC competitive?
Not at heart, no. There are no community vs. community matches here.
Can Xbox players attend?
Yes! Accessibility is forefront for us and we want to make sure console players can both attend and operate just like PC players.
How many people can I bring from my community?
As many as you want. If you bring a fireteam, you will be kept as a fireteam. If you bring a squad of people, you will fill a squad. In short: if you come to CFC with a unit/group, you will be able to slot together in that unit/group.
When can I join the server?
The server will almost always be up, barring any mod changes or restarts. "Pre-join" happens 45 minutes prior to the first mission beginning and anyone can connect and play around with the mods until mission start.
Do all of my community members/friends/enemies need to be in the COALITION discord to attend?
Nope! We ask that unit/group/community leaders notify tanaKa and stay in discord so they can receive up to date information each week. Joining discord gives you access to AAR threads as well as mission previews.
Do we have to register in discord to attend?
No. In the future, we will roll out stat tracking for players and units/groups that will require registration, but it is completely optional.
What's the point or goal of Coalition Fight Club?
The goal of CFC is to provide a common ground for individuals and units/groups/communities of all types to play in an easily accessible, but organized and structured environment where solid game play and realism meet for ArmA Reforger.
Whether attending with your unit and testing your skills against others or simply having a place to blow off steam after a long week at work, CFC stands to be a pillar for the ArmA Reforger community.
In-game FAQ
How is slotting done?
Check out Slotting and Connecting
I want to play with the group I'm attending with. Can I do that?
Absolutely. We slot in a fashion that allows unit leaders to take squad, fireteam, and platoon roles early so you can see where your unit/group will be.
Can I customize my loadout?
Not yet. CFC runs off of dedicated roles, which means a Rifleman Anti-tank (LAT) has gear with a specific purpose that is different from an Automatic Rifleman (AR). You wont find arsenal here, and in the future, we plan to implement a limited arsenal where players can customize their uniforms/gear in accordance with their side loadout.
Can we run <insert mod name> at CFC?
Maybe. Anyone in discord can start a poll to add/change/remove mods. Simply join discord, get the arma community role, and start a vote.
What are the missions based around?
All missions fall under one of two eras:
- Modern - RHS - US USMC vs. RU MSV
- Cold War - 1980s stock equipment
Missions all have a game mode:
- Rush
- One team attacking, one team defending
- Two or more front lines exist where players must arm and destroy two bombs before pushing the front line deeper
- Search and Destroy
- One team attacking, one team defending
- Defenders must protect two bomb sites from being taken and destroyed
- If attackers plant a bomb, defenders can defuse it.
- Capture the Flag
- Both teams attacking a neutral area
- A team must grab a singular flag and extract it to the enemy base
While each mission has a "gamified" objective, realism is still taken into full effect.
